Happy Anniversary to Me and Ax!

A year ago today I got the best text ever from my father, AXCENT WAS OFFICIALLY MINE! I had been away at school for about a week and had left my dad with a check for his owner and a date, time, and place to meet her and sign the papers. That week of school felt like pure torture. I was either going to have Ax as my own, or I was never going to see him again. Lucky for me, all the crossing of my fingers paid off because on Thursday, August 15, 2013 at 5:58 PM Southern Axcent became mine.

We have come so far since then that I can’t imagine what the next year will bring. I guess we will have to wait and see.
